“In books stories and knowledge can be passed on well, I personally am not a fan of e-books and would find it better if not everything is digitized”

“Books, to me, are about being transported to another world.”

“For me, books mean inspiration, imagination, diving into other worlds and sometimes experimenting in the kitchen…. “

“For me, books mean immersion in another world.
Switching off and living with it. Recharge my batteries and gain inspiration.”

“Books are a way of gaining life experiences that are often not very accessible that would be out of reach for many in the first place.”

“Books mean cultural assets to me, impart knowledge, allow imagination!
They take me to worlds that are better when I’m “fed up” with the real world.

“For me, books are the collection of knowledge and an important cultural mediator!
With the invention of letterpress printing around 1450 by Johannes Gensfleisch, known as Gutenberg, books became affordable for people. Books have significantly promoted the development of Europe.
I think also in the modern time the books are not to be replaced by the electronic media completely! No matter if at school, at study or at home. Masterpieces, like the “Song of the Bell” must be read from the book! A tablet does not work here at all.”
